What if they don't use email much?
Questions can come by text message instead. There's nothing to install and no password. Many families set it up together at the kitchen table the first time.
Can I read their stories?
If they want you to. Most storytellers add the family, so everyone gets each new page by email. Their book stays private until they share it.
